Originally from California, Leila B. Nelson has lived in Las Vegas for over fifteen years. She and her husband, Clay, have two dogs, Norman and Finn. Leila enjoys a wide variety of music and art forms. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking local trails, and finding new adventures. She loves sunrises and finds it impossible not to be happy when blowing bubbles. Leila believes that everyone should feel free to be their full and authentic selves. She hopes that through her writing, readers are empowered to be the best version of themselves and champions in their communities.

“Little One” is Leila’s first published book but certainly will not be the last. Reflecting on her childhood and the lessons that were taught to her, she felt moved to share this message. Leila enjoys writing short stories and poetry as well. Her next project just may be one of these.
